Respite

Thank you.

Thanks to all of you for thinking positive thoughts about my boy and my family.

It has been said before, but the NICU is a roller coaster. And just as sure as the cars go to sickening depths that threaten to smash you into a million pieces on a jagged patch of earth, they can also take you to dizzying heights.

Today was a better day.

Not ‘in the stratosphere’-type of high, but better than last weekend.

I will keep you all informed as we move forward.

It is still a long, rough road, but we might just get to travel it a little while longer.
