We got the above images of the dynamic duo and everything looks jake. They’re healthy, Mom’s happy, and I’m ecstatic.
I love the look on B's face. I can't explain it, but I totally see me in that look.
Look at that look - straight into the camera. It says, "Yeah? What are you lookin' at?" All attitude.
I blame the Barron gene.
I haven't mentioned it previously, but he carries the the same blood as Commodore James Barron .
Like a number of male Barrons, the Commodore carried a grudge. This one was against Civil War hero Stephen Decatur.
In the end, Commodore James Barron exacted his revenge in a dual. James was badly wounded, Decatur was killed.
A? Well, she just looks like a princess. Calm, cool, and in charge. Like B, her lineage is long.
I can point to my maternal grandmother, Ann Barron. She wrote historical romances that featured strong women in the role of protagonist.
Several of her books landed on the New York Times bestseller's list.
My girl's gonna do all the Barron women proud.
Enough family horn tooting... how about something pregnancy related?
An interesting thing happened; I was late to the appointment, so P.Pie started without me. She went into the ultrasound and disrobed.
You may recall our ultrasound tech. The one without a sense of humor.
Apparently she’s a chatty Patty when it’s just the mom-to-be.
As soon as I walked into the room, she clammed up. Of course, for me it was no different than normal. I cracked silly jokes and the ‘sound tech ignores me. It wasn’t until we were home that P.Pie mentioned it.
I’m a little weirded out by it.
But, no matter about the tech; in the words of The Who, “The kids are alright.”
