As previously mentioned, the national and local weather prognosticators are pointing their fickle fingers towards yet another winter storm bearing down on the Mile High City.
Normally, I don’t take much stock in snow soothsayers, but this time I’m heeding the dire predictions. Not because I think they’re right, but because we’re low on stuff. And if we have to be confined to the house, I want some things.
So here’s what we got –
Four new all-season tires (it’s not really storm related, the originals that came with my ’04 Mazda have just shy of 30k on them)
Food (after the last storm, the grocery store shelves were bare)
Dry Package Meals (i.e., Hamburger Helper)
Sonic the Hedgehog (for the xbox360)
Tomorrow I’ll top off the car’s tank and that will be that. We’re ready for 12-15” of fresh snow.
Of course now that we’re set, the storm will probably miss us.
