Progeny, Children, Kids, Rugrats

Yes, this should be a turkey related post, but there is other news that is worth noting.

As some of you may recall, I have a younger sister who lives in hell Houston.

For the sake of this blog, we’ll call her Tintin; basically because I think it’s cute and she hates it. She’s 30-ish, married to a good guy, gainfully employed, and has a 2 year old boy.

I call him the Prince of Wails. The short version – When he was 6 months or so, I went to visit them and slept in the room next to him; or tried to sleep. You can figure out the rest.

Can you see where this is going?

Yes, that’s exactly where it’s going. My sister is pregnant again. So in the next 7 months, there will be 4, count’em 4, new kids in my immediate family.

Apparently we’ve all been busy, if you know what I mean.

Congrats! Glad to know you're bucking the trend -- apparently we're at the lowest level of births per citizens at like 4 out of every 1000 or something like that.

We'll probably add an L.A. Baby at some point in '07. I'm gettin' too old, dammit.

Very exciting!

And, hooray, like you, they'll be tired when you are trying to have intelligent conversations. What fun :)

Congratulations to everyone! When I was pregnant with my twins, my oldest sister had had a daughter earlier that year, and another sister of mine was pregnant just a month or so after me. And then we heard that our friends were expecting and it seemed like every other week we would hear about someone else we knew that was expecting. We thought we started an epidemic!

Heartfelt congratulations and joyful wishes from NJ!
