He Shoots, He Scores!

I’ve been keeping a secret. For 14 long weeks, I’ve keep my trap shut, not saying a word.

Oh, I’ve wanted to say something. I’ve wanted to shout it from the rooftops; but, it’s been snowing here and I might slip and fall.

So I might as well come out and say it here – we’re pregnant again.

Yes, I agree… that was a pretty quick turn around. And truth be told, we weren’t really planning on a third so quickly.

Of course, we weren’t trying not to get pregnant… but the last time we tried, it took 2+ years and a helping hand from science.

So I kinda figured it would take a real effort to make it happen again. I mean, at least a week of, well, you know… concerted effort.

I feel like an after school special.

The funny thing is, I always – ALWAYS – tell friends that getting pregnant the first time is the hardest part. It’s kind of like an internal medicine version of riding a bicycle.

Apparently that applies to us as well.

Without further ado, here are pictures of Baby Barron 3…

Oh CONGRATS!! That is such amazing and exciting news!! And i'm with you on feeling like that afterschool special. My oldest and my twins were concieved with the help of science, and never did i dream i'd ever experience anything different. Imagine my shock when at my girls 4 mos checkup i find out i'm knocked up...my son is only 11 mos younger then my twins...i had four under the age of 4 (all in diapers!!)

WOW!!!

Congrats, congrats, a million times congrats. How wonderfully exciting! I hope P.Pie is feeling well, and all my best wishes for a happy and uneventful pregnancy.

I'm sure everyone has a million stories, but a similar thing happened to a friend of mine. First took a long time to get pregnant, including some medical intervention. They started trying for #2 right away, since #1 had taken so long. Their daughters are 14 months apart. Ah, mother nature...

We are THRILLED to be able to say "We told you so!!" We told you that once you broke that seal it would be much easier to get pregnant again. :-) We are soooo excited!!!!! Any clues as to the sex of Barron Baby 3 whom we will call BB3 until we have a proper name.

Congrats! Squeaker will have to relinquish her position but I'm sure she'll do just fine.

My sister wanted a pony and got me.

You will be visited by me once a week whether you need it or not.

I has spoken!

Holy crap! When was the last time I visited here?!? Congrats, man! As one who has just started going through #2 -- I forget just how difficult some aspects are, but at the same time, I forgot just how awesome a happy, smiling, laughing baby is...
